Assisi Aid Projects’ in-country partners apply their expertise, skills, commitment, and a keen understanding of the local environments, in implementing our projects. We learn so much from our partners and are committed to capacity strengthening through guidance and support in delivering gender focused projects, accountable implementation, and best practice financial reporting and budgeting processes.

In 2022, Assisi Aid Projects embarked on an exciting new partnership with the Federation of Business and Professional Women Nepal (BPW Nepal). BPW Nepal was established in 1975 and utilises its extensive knowledge of the local environment to advance women’s entrepreneurship in Nepal.

The vision of BPW Nepal – “to see [that] women from any background are socio-economically empowered” – strongly aligns with that of Assisi Aid Projects.

The project established in 2022 was called ‘Advancing Women in Agroforestry Business Enterprise (AWABE) in the Wake of Pandemic in Jumla, Nepal’. Due to its success, at the beginning of 2023 the project expanded to become, ‘Advancing Women in Agroforestry Business Enterprise (AWABE) Post Covid 19 Pandemic in Jumla and Nuwakot, Nepal (II)’.
