Dreamdelion takes its name by combining the word dream with dandelion, a symbol of growth, hope and healing. Through this name, Dreamdelion hopes to demonstrate their belief that everyone has the right to dream, and to realise those dreams. Dreamdelion’s values are connection, collaboration and impact. The organisation works through these values to deliver projects focused on economic empowerment, education, and the environment.

Our project with Dreamdelion, ‘Jajal Wae Sustainable Agri-tourism’, unifies these focus areas by training vulnerable women in tourism management, enabling them to generate an income through sustainable, eco-tourism activities. The project strengthens the economic resilience of the women who participate, and in turn elevates their societal status and contributes to stronger, more equitable communities and economies.
