Our Impact
How we measure success
Our work is rooted in the knowledge that if women are supported with practical skills, knowledge, confidence and access to resources, and if local organisations are resourced to lead this work, then women can earn an income, advance gender equality, and build sustainable livelihoods.
Our work begins with community-levels activities such as vocational training, skills development, financial and business management training, marketing support, and access to small business loans. These inputs are designed to respond to local priorities and remove barriers to economic participation that women often face.
We measure success by looking at real, meaningful outcomes. This includes the number of women who report increased income, the number of women supported through business initiatives such as training, mentoring or loans, and the number of people reached through gender equality initiatives. This helps us understand not just what we deliver, but the difference it makes in people’s lives.

Evaluation
To ensure accountability and learning, independent evaluations are conducted every three years. These assessments examine project relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability. Importantly, they also capture lessons and recommendations, which we use to strengthen future projects and continuously improve our work.
